God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. And ME to share all the pain, laughter, tears, sorrow, happiness, sun and rain with you! Let us endure all the 暴风雨 and 彩虹 together!

Day 3: Bangkok

13th December 2008

Day 3 falls on weekends. Thus, we went to Chatuchak Weekend Market. And this is the first time I saw this BIG car park. We wondered how the cars come out when they wanted to:

This weekend market is super big I tell you. Managed to find a map of the place online:

The place here sells almost anything. From clothings to souvenirs to antique collections to food to household appliances to even animals!!

The puppies were for sale were even cheaper than the cages, etc. They were just so cute.... too bad cannot bring back to Singapore. Saw alot of shih tzu, thus reminded of my girl girl. Other than dogs, there were sales of kittens, fishes, hamsters, mouses, reptiles, and even squirrels, just to name a few.

We were walking and walking but couldn't find a place to eat. And when we managed to find a place for lunch, it was already 4.30pm.

After that, we went back to hotel to bath and rest.

At night, we went to Patpong. This is the first time I came across so many bar top dancing, maybe it was even my first time seeing bar top dancing. It was the a go-go bar. All the gals were dancing on the bar top, doing pole dancing, etc in their binikins. We didn't go in, just glance from the outside.

There were many people standing outsides around the streets asking tourists to go in to see their "tiger shows".

At Patpong market, most of the items were rather expensive, than other market, according to Alvin.

Then we made our way home after that. And guess what? We saw a BIG group of people in REDs.... apparently they were supporters of PPP. It can be quite scary if a fight were to occur between the REDs and YELLOWs. But we were safe and sound. Just boarded the train with sea of reds.

Oh... and THANK GOD.... we were not in RED!
