English Premier League 2008/09

Yesterday Manchester United won the Championship for English Premier League 2008/09 at their own home ground - Old Trafford. The match was against Chelsea and was a draw. This draw allows Man-U to add a point to the League table to 87 points, which makes it impossible for Liverpool to catch up even if they win the match against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday and against Tottenham Hotspur next week (as the max point Liverpool can get is 6, 3 for each game won and it's current point is 80, which adds up to 86 ONLY)

That is the reason why, even there are few more fixtures today, tomorrow and next week, we already knew that Man-U is the champion.

On the other hand, although Man-U has won the match, I felt that the game played wasn't good. Maybe that was their tactic? Preventing Chelsea to score any goal? I don't know.
