It feels good to be missed... ...

Yesterday, one of my 5 year old kids hugged me when she saw me after 1-2 months ever since I came back from leave. She initiated it.

Then again, in the gym, while playing with her, she hugged me again.

Then the naughty/cheeky me asked her,

"Why? You miss Aunty Xiu Ling is it?"

Then she looked at me and nodded her head. Aww... so sweet.

Sometimes before the session end and we bid "goodbye", some kids I will ask for hugs. But yesterday, even without asking, she hugged me.

She must have missed me soooo much... lolx... just kidding.

But it is really nice to be missed by someone while I am away... ...

Tired and Sick

I was having very bad sore throat last evening and slight fever - 37.4 degree. Don't know how am I going to survive my 10km run this coming sunday... ... Hopefully I don't get worse this few days..... decided to skip today's run as wasn't feeling best of health this evening......

Anyway I was back to work this morning with still slight fever - 37.2 degrees. Then there was this Primary 4 gal (sister of a client) who saw my MSN nick, .i.e. Eileen Quek is Sick..... on my PC and she responded:

"You sick meh? You look so healthy. You are still here for work!"

I was like... "Well..... doesn't mean sick cannot come to work what..... I am having sore throat and fever lor....."

And this gal..... she has a sony ericsson's phone..... and she mentioned this word when she was talking on the phone.....

"Then you THREATEN her lo...."

I can't believe kids nowadays uses such words....

Last week of clinicals

This is going to be the last week of clinicals.

And I am going to see the kids for the last time. I have prepared some gifts for them.







Oh, there is this very sweet parent who got me a christmas gift. She was worried that she won't be seeing me again as she won't be coming the next 2 weeks. So, she gave me in advance.

Thanks for the gift. I have never expect a gift from anyone.



Oh.... there was another cheeky boy......

I was telling his mother that this week will be my last time seeing his son.... and he told the son that the coming week will be my last session with him..... and he asked me when I went near him,

"Next week your last episode ah?"

Following that, he asked:

"Will you miss me?"

Then the mother asked him if I will miss him.

The boy replied something like this,

"She will miss me."

Then cheeky me asked,

"Will you miss me?"

Cheeky boy will always be a cheeky boy.....

He said,

"No." but turning his face away, with a smile.

FYI he is just a 2+ turning 3 boy.....

In another session,

I was telling another parent the same thing.... and this time round, my client is a little gal.
Her reply was she will miss me..... gal will always be more thoughful and sweeter than boys... =)

2 Days @ Ubin

I was at Ubin for 2 days continously with 2 diferent agenda. Either one, I donated my blood to the mosquitos there......

Day 1: Hosanna Baptish Church Family Day by Quantum Dynamics

There was last minute change of plan. I was told to do amzaing race instead of sensory trail. Due to my ability in cycling, I was told to station at the Bermuda Triangle instead of the station that Raymond is suppose to take.(BTW Raymond was running a high fever.) I did broken bridge at my station. Photos of the station will be posted once I get hold of them. Meanwhile, do enjoy the following photos:

Day 2: Recee Trip for Adventure Youth Camp by Tampines Centre Youth Group

I went for a recee trip for my youth camp. Thanks Stat for coming along and Joyce for joining us to mamam beach. ;)

We started of to the sensory trail. That was what I've missed out yesterrday. Not too bad, at least Stat knows quite alot on the plants there.

We went over to Jelutong Campsite too..... and spotted the following but flowers on the left
and right sides are really poles apart.

K2 Progress Report

I found my K2 Progress Report.....

On May 1990, my height was 121 cm.
On Nov 1990, my height was 123.5cm.
2.5cm in 6 months.....

15 years later,
On May 2005, my height was 156cm.
32.5cm in 15 years.
How sad disappointed can I be......
