Woke up early yesterday to prepare orange wedges, aka orange agar-agar yesterday... ...

FAT Husband

Overhead a conversation:

Woman 1(pointing to a receipe in a magazine): "I am going to cook this for my husband."

And she continued... ...

"My husband is fat. Really fat. But it is good. Because NO ONE other than ME will LOVE him. I can close 1 eye.... no.... I can close 2 eyes and tell you that."

That is so funny when I heard it.

Haha.... I am so going to cook and feed my future hubby with food when I get married (in the future of course)! And make him FAT!

Because... ... someone said:

Lolx.

But on the other hand, there are SOME people.... who just cannot get FAT no MATTER what they EAT! And they attribute it to their high metabolism rate. *bleh*

Haha... just kidding... but isn't it blissful to cook for someone you LOVE? AT least I think it is. =)
Don't "see me no up" okay... I got A2 for my FOOD AND NUTRITION subject for my O Level okay... ;P

In another news, my ex-client's mother said she the maid has finished copying my receipe book. Most likely I am going to have it back soon! Maybe I can cook some stuff from the book eh when I get them back?

In another, another news, there was this cat that was as fat as the cat above, outside my workplace... ... but suprisingly, it can RUN fast. Never judge a book by its cover. (it's not a book what? It is a metaphor la!!)

What a good time for a sun-tanned. =)

Good things must share

Today, my ex-adult client's mother came to look for me and requested that I lend her my receipe book (9 years old collection, from year 1999 till now) longer.

As someone who is willing to share, of course it is my pleasure to lend her longer.

I missed cooking. Maybe one day I shall get back to cooking again. Haven't been cooking for quite some time already. Usually will cook when I am exceptionally happy or sad but no longer does that.

I missed baking.... and cook special food. =)

Update #3: A Feast @ MX's House

After Longgggg preparation and cooking, our dinner was finally done.

That night, we had long mahjong and bridge sessions and ended up sleeping at almost 5am. We woke at close to noon and heated up our left-over dinner. Then we continue with our mahjong session. A begginer in mahjong was detected too.

After mahjong session, we ended up playing the swing in Mx's house.

Meal Preparation and cooking (Lifestyle and lifespan dev't module)

We had a cooking session today and all were very excited!

Didn't know that so many ppl in my class can cook!!! We had fun tasting the "extra" food.... it was just so interesting and fun.... maybe we should draw up a duty rooster and takes turn to cook lunch for the class.... in this way, we can save lotsa money!!!!

Even today, the food that my group cooks is like $3.70 only.... which includes a main dish (pasta) with mushroom vegetables, drink and dessert (orange agar agar)

hehe.... was very happy la.... 'cos everyone was so impressed with my Agar Agar .... lolz... will upload when ZX has uploaded to her comp...

The class also like my pasta la... =) THL also said that it was tasty..... keke....
Too bad I didn't bring my chili sauce.... if not.... I think it will taste nicer....

Oh no.... I'm flying.... and I am hitting the celling... lolz

Food for thoughts

My Lunch.....
Though I am busy with lots of reports to write.....
I still want to cook something for myself.....
For, at least I am still able to do something that I like in between my busy schedule.....
For, at least I like cooking.....

But, I have yet to find someone who I want to cook for.....

Cooking

I have always enjoy cooking..... but of course not the washing....
I went to supermarkets just now to buy some ingredients that I am going to cook for the next few days.....
I have decided to bring 便当 to school again....
Firstly, to save up and secondly, I am quite tired of the food in school liao.... =P
And..... it helps me to dis-stress...... I will cook either when I am sad or happy....

Haven't really decide what to cook, but these are some of my plans:

• Tom Yam Fried Rice (I LOVE tom yam btw)
• Fried Pasta
• Fried Mee Poh/Maggie Mee
• Mixed Vegetable/chicken salad
• Pasta salad
• 蛋炒饭

Hehe.... are you salivating now?? lolz...
