Sony Ericsson G900 is out!

Sony Ericsson G900 is out!!! Considering getting the phone.... since my current phone is like more than 2 years old now..... although I like my current Panasonic VS7..... =)

The Sony Ericsson G900: -



As you can see, this model comes with a stylus but it is also a touch screen. I guess it helps when I want to write a note instead of typing it with the keypad. It also has handwriting recognition and it has Post-it note where you can leave a note in your mobile like how you leave it on your computer screen.....

This model comes with a 5mp camera. In addition, it also has a Wifi features..... thus it is good for for people like me who is always online.... =p

Well, it seems cool.... but got to see the real thing then I'll know if I really like it.... it comes in brown and red.... not sure if they looks nice in real thing or not....

Will be back to blog on the phone again if I see it ...... =p

Interesting Clients and their caregivers on last Wednesday

Last Wednesday.... I have very interesting clients and their caregivers....

Incident #1:
My colleague was asking if I have told them (referring to my client and her mother ) regarding my moving over to children services. Then I said haven't. The mother was asking.... "What you want to tell me? You getting married?"

I was like........ haha..... and I replied: "I don't even have a boyfriend. How to get married?"


Incident #2:
My client, was talking to her mother..... then the mother was telling her, "You ask Xiu Ling yourself lah." Then I asked her what she want to ask? Then the mother was saying.... "She (referring to my client) was asking if you has a boyfriend, if not, she wants to recommend you some guys from our church."


Incident #3:
My other client asked me: "I have low BP. Can I have SEX?"

Moving out of comfort zone......

Happy 1 year anniversary to me as an occupational therapist on Wednesday! Same to ZR and Serene who started work same time as me!!! =D

Yes..... one year has past..... I can still remember how I was 1 year back..... starting out as an new graduated OT.... and being the only OT seeing adults..... it was quite challenging initially.... and trying to build rapport with the clients.....

Now, 1 year later..... being so used to working environment.... the way I do things with my clients.... I'm going to have a change of job scope soon....

Been working with adults for 1 year..... already build up the relationships with all my clients.... even new clients... but well.... it is good to move out of my comfort zone.... to challenge myself to my limits...... =)

I was telling my mom just now..... she was asking.... why must change? You don't like to work with adult if like why change? hmm.... I guess I need to explore on the areas that I really like.... maybe after the peads one.... I may be better position to tell myself.... which area is the one that I want to work in in the future.

Though I don't really know what to expect.... but I am looking forward to it.... =D

Accuracy of Death and Carnivore Restaurant

I went to watch Accuracy of Death at Vivocity with SY just now. Only 4 places currently is still screening the movie but the timing sucks.... only Vivo seems to have better timing and I do not want to stay in Tampines... lolx....

Was walking around in Vivo before the movie starts.... GSS plus weekend.... there was a big crowd man..... SY managed to get something for himself lolx.... guess it's all matching items ya? His jacket with his new shoes and sling bag.... luckily citibank credit card got discount... so can save a bit.... So.. anyone wants to buy anything from Adidas? There is 10% discount if you use citibank credit card and addition 10% if the item is on sale.... =) Maybe I should get something for myself too... lolx

Hmmm..... Accuracy of Death....

I won't say it is a fantastic show.... maybe so-so only....

The show is about this Grim Reaper, who appears 7 day before a person dies in an unexpected death and he decides whether that person will die or continue to live('suspend-life').

It also shows that what happens when a person is giving an opportunity to live. It is sad in the show that the actress has to give away her loved ones to prevent them from dying as she said that all her loved ones will slowly die if they are with her.... sad isn't it? *I think I got cry somewhere there lo...*

The Reaper always like to ask the dying person on what they perceive on death.... but little did he asked what people perceive about life?

I guess all this lies with different pespectives one has when you are in different roles and position....

After the movie, we went to Carnivore Brazilian Churrascaria

If you are big meat eater then this place is good. It is all-you-can-eat buffet style. The grilled beef is good according to SY. They will continue to go around your table and ask if you want more meat....



wah piang.... they cannot read the red tag that I don't want meat anymore? lolx.... I think they simply just give up when we keep rejecting them.... SY has to leave w/o eating his chicken heart as he left for some pollution to the air.... lolx

Then we ask for bill.... when the waiter passed us the bill.... it was $200+!!!!

But please be calm... he passed us the wrong bill..... when he passed us the correct bill... It was 90+. I asked if there is any discount for any card.... then he was kind to ask us to pass him any card... and he still give us 10% discount!!!! coolz......

Then we went up to the rooftop.... for some sea viewing and he added more pollution to the air...
lolx.... quite breezy night.... should have taken photos there.... haiz.....

Then after, we headed back home.... lotsa ppl at the train station sia....
