Good BF vs good man
My classmates and I were discussing about our Intro to mental health PBL when we "side-tracked" into Good BF vs good man....
The conclusion after the "side-tracked",
Good BF is a man that treats his gal well.....
While a good man is one who treats all girls(and perhaps everyone) well.....
Do you agree?? =p

A: That has to depend on individuals I guess.
Good man means he will be nice to everyone and thus, his gal has to be 心胸宽大 (this is the correct word to describe?) as she has to so call "share" her BF with everyone. If not, jealousy may cause a problem in their relationship. Therefore, Trust is important in such relationship. The gal must have trust in his other half that he do/help others(esp gals) is purely friendship or wanting to help and not other reasons.
As for good bf, true enough, he may be good to the gal but only because he likes the gal and not because that is his natural self.
And I believe there are not just the 2 of them living in the world and there are the family members and friends around. I am sure that the gal will want his guy to treat her friends and family well too.
Since good BF is treating the gal well, and good man is treating all well, I feel that good man is better than good bf as a good man can also be a good bf while a good bf not neccessary is a good man.
But ultimately, that has to depends on the expectations of the both parties.
Forget to mention that the above applies to gd GF and Gd Gal as well..... ;-)
