Trust no one. Deceive everyone.

While walking home from work, I saw the following movie advert at a bus stop...

Synopsis of the movie (taken from Golden Village):

Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio) is the best man U.S. Intelligence has on the ground, in places where human life is worth no more than the information it can get you. In operations that take him around the globe from the Middle East to Washington, Ferris's next breath often depends on the voice at the other end of a secure phone line CIA veteran Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe).

Waging war from a laptop in the suburbs, Hoffman is on the trail of an emerging terrorist leader who has orchestrated a campaign of bombings while eluding the most sophisticated intelligence network in the world. To lure the terrorist out into the open, Ferris will have to penetrate his murky world, but the closer he gets to the target, the more he discovers that trust is both a dangerous commodity and the only one that will get him out alive.

Expectations

"When there is no expectations, everything is a bonus."

Sometimes when we expect something to happen, but it doesn't. Maybe we will get disappointed, angry, frustrated and/or sad.

It is good to have expectations... ... but then again.... sometimes we just set ourselves to disappointment, frustrations, anger, sadness when we or others don't meet our own expectations.
Thus, it is important to know or let others know what is your own expectations or what you expect of others. So, you don't set yourselves to all the above.

But well, sometimes it is easily said than done.

When you can live forever, what do you live for?

When you can live forever, what do you live for?

This movie looks cool..... but only going to be shown on 18 December..... gonna wait for it to come out... I think it will feel very terrible to see everyone leaves you when you are still alive.... I don't want immortality.... just let me enjoy life to the fullest.... when it is time for me to go... maybe in my 60s-70s.... let me go peacefully.... no dementia.... no heart diseases.... nothing.... let me die in my sleep......

Anyway, the following is the story line extracted from Golden Village:

"Twilight" is an action-packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she's ever met. Intelligent and witty, he sees straight into her soul. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than a mountain lion, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands and he hasn't aged since 1918.

Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood; Edward and his family are unique among vampires in their lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre), the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? Based on the Stephenie Meyer book.

Which is a nicer header for my blog?

As you can see from my previous entry.... I just did a collage of my recent few photos.... I was wondering if I should replace my current blog header with the collage if it looks nice....

Any comments from my readers? Does my collage header looks nicer than my Pon and Zi one? This Pon and Zi header is also designed my me (of course not the pictures itself).... I like both headers... but just cannot make up my mind....

So.... please throw in your suggestions!!! Thanks! =)

This is my current header:

This is how my blog will look like if I use my collage as the header:

Please remember to leave a comment after reading. Thanks.

Song by Green Day

Time of your life

Another turning point;
a fork stuck in the road.

Time grabs you by the wrist;
directs you where to go.

So make the best of this test
and don't ask why.

It's not a question
but a lesson learned in time.

It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs
and still frames in your mind.

Hang it on a shelf
In good health and good time.

Tattoos of memories
and dead skin on trial.

For what it's worth,
it was worth all the while.

It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

(music break)

It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

Bad morning

I had a super BAD morning.....

*reader have to take note that the following descriptions that what happened to me may be alittle too descriptive.*

Waking up in the middle of the night due to very bad stomach ache/cramp/diarrhea at 3+am in the morning!!!

Can you imagine being in the toilet with the excruciating pain in the tummy? That point in time... I feel like just give me an injection and put me to sleep.... I am so damn tired.... and with the damn pain.... and with the intermittent diarrhea.... ARGH!!!!

And because of the intermittent diarrhea and I also wasn't able to "push out" the "liquid" out from my tummy.... I can feel the tossing and contraction of whatever is in my tummy.... nothing at that point of time can ease the pain.... nothing seems to be able to "Get out" of my body..... until I stand up... and it feels like I am ready to "let go"... yet.... when I sat down.... the pain came back again..... dammit!!!!

I just felt like sleep in the toilet.... on the floor for that moment in time.... and clear the whatever mess the next day. Haiz.... that is the worse pain I ever have.... considering myself being someone with high tolerance for pain.... and I was sort of moaning in pain..... hmm... maybe that is the feeling of how girl girl felt before she passed away.... with all the pain....

I am so tired and I have no more strength to "push" whatever that is needed to be out of my body..... I just decided to clean myself... and see how thing goes.... and left the toilet with that excruciating pain and the feeling of "passing liquid"....

Went back to bed..... with tummy facing down.... hopefully it will reduce the pain.... it reduced a little.... saw my mobile first aid kit that I usually bring for camp.... and hope that I can find some oilment to ease my pain... but to no avail.... no choice.... I just faced down... and hope that the pressure can reduce the pain.... and I was also tossing and turning..... finding the best position with the lesser pain....

I guess while I was doing that.... I am just too tired and I fall asleep.... and before I knew it... it was 6.50am.... and got to wake up for work.....

Everything was alright.... I guess it was after I drank my milo when I was on the way to work..... and I started to feel the tossing and turning.... the contraction in my tummy.... ARGH.... and I endured till I reached my workplace.....

And I just feel so lethargic at work.... and I guess that 10 min nap at work after lunch did help a bit and applying the oilment that my colleague has.... does soothen it abit....

I guess I have food poisoning..... and maybe allergy too... as I have itch rashes during the episode of tummy ache at 3+am.....

Hmm... to lighten this entry.... I am going to end with a lame joke.....

I was feeling a bit nausea too during 3+am..... but I guess I was not going to "puke" since I don't burp. *lame*

Hope everything is alright for you... ....

What Muffin Am I?

You Are a Bran Muffin

Some people have accused you of being all work and no play. And that does describe you most of the time.

You are very career oriented. When you're not working making money, you're working to improve yourself.

You have very little room in your life for fluff. You want to live as good of a life as possible.

You are competitive and driven. You like to surround yourself with other motivated people.

While you are a go-getter, you are by no means self centered. Quite the opposite.

You are a caring, together, and stable friend. You are grounded enough to be there for people.

"Take photo for what? Go where"

"Take photo for what? Go where"

I took passport photos last Friday in a photoshop at Ang Mo Kio Jubilee. I was supposed to take it near my house before I go to AMK but I didn't know it closed on Friday. As you all know, I have very bad dark rings and eyebags especially when it is nearing the submission of assignments. It was already around 8pm when I took the photo. Thus, the photo turns out to be ugly with my dark rings that looked like I haven't been sleeping for days.

I was indecisive whether to take a new photo or to photoshop the current one. Hmm, as I wasn't very pleased with my "lips" in the photo, I decided to give it another try before I give up on it. I decided that I should make it fast.... as I needed to process my application for the passport.... and I do not want to make someone wait..... because of the delay of my passport expiry date....

Thus, I went to bath..... blow dry my hair..... put on foundation..... put on blusher..... put on lip stick.... just to TAKE A PASSPORT PHOTO..... lolx....

I cannot believe I actually go to that extent to do that.... but well..... I guess everyone wants to look good right? Although this may just be a form of identification that I may just be using once or twice a year or even lesser.... BUT.... I STILL WANT TO LOOK GOOD! =P

Hmm.... then I went down..... and I took another one..... at the same time.... I also got aZ to help me photoshop my eyebags for the previous photo.... lolx.... but there's nothing can be done to the "distorted" lips....

This time round, with the make-up, I looked slightly better.... my dark rings are not so bad.... thou there is still presence of eyebags... but not too bad either..... Thus, after some considerations, I decided to take the photo that I took just now for the application for my new passport..... Do not want to wait any longer before it drags on and delay the booking of the hotel and air tixs for my trip.

Isn't it a waste if I gonna wash off my make-up so fast? haha... thus I cam-whore before I remove my make-up..... I may look a bit darker here..... as my make-up set was supposingly for use with the tanned skin I have previously.....

Here are the photos......

Shall photoshop-ed and make it into a collage when I'm more free... ...

Only make some adjustment to the contrast and brightness.....

Ready.....1.....

4... er.... sorry... no 4..... it's 5!
