New Packaging.Lesser Energy.

All my colleagues will know that this is my daily breakfast. Because I will go into the office sucking on the straw, drinking a packet of milo every work day.

This provides me with some energy for the day before I see some kids in the morning. But now, it seems like there is a change in the ingredients used as well as the packaging. So is the amount of milo in the packet.

I want back my bigger packet of milo!!!

Boring.Hot Day.Inception

Saturday was a boring hot day. Didn't do much. Just spending time in front of the computer surfing and playing abit of games.

I also watched Inception that I gotten from him last week.

The movie summary from IMDb:

What are my opinions after watching the movie?

I feel this is a thought intriguing movie. Very often, there are many things we hid from others and even ourselves. Something that we do not wished people to know. But subconsciously, it is still there. May it be guilt, regrets, sadness, disappointment, anger, etc. But some point in time, some people may unconsciously discovers them. Or sometimes, we may subconsciously dreams about it. Then we will realise, they are not gone. Totally unresolved. The only thing that we need to do is to accept it  that it has happened. And learn to let go. Easily said than done.

And yet sometimes, we wondered if the things happening to us is a reality or dream. Sometimes we fall into our own illusion, so deep that we are unable to differentiate from the real one anymore. The desires that one wants something can also be so strong that makes people wanting to do things that may be dangerous or away from the norms.

Lastly, it also shows how much a person's mind can do. Very often, we say things without thinking, but little did we know that a certain word or a certain phrase or even idea can cause a great change in another person's emotions, thinking and even life.

I wondered if we were allowed to go into each other's dreams, would you invite your friends into yours? How about dreams in dreams?

I don't know myself either. Because I do not know subconsciously is there anything I do not want people to know, which me myself doesn't know.

Irony that people always say you wouldn't feel pain in dreams. Yet in this Inception, they do feel pain. Another thing that I had experience that may be true in real life is that what happens in the dream maybe a subset of what happens in reality. Like when the train moves alot, it seems to be an earthquake in the dream. It happens to me a few times, like in the dream I was kicking something, then i was woken up by my own kick in the air. Or another funny one is that I dreamt that I was combing my hair while lying on my bed and the comb dropped from my hair to my chest. In reality, all my hamsters has escaped and was treating my bed and myself as their "playground" and was jumping from my head to my chest!

Day out with NP buddies

A supposing lunch session to support sZ at his not-so-newly restaurant @ Santa Hotel turned out to be a lunch session+movie+coffee+dinner. All thanks to us the spontaneous people! lolx.

Our as usual kind aZ picked wC, hC and me up to go to De Grand Restaurant @ Santa Hotel. It is a small and simple restaurant at a budget hotel. We sat at the location where there is this very nice purple chair.

I am quite unlucky that day, although it was a GOOD FRIDAY. While I was peeling the mussel off the shell, it landed on my light blue jeans. GOD DAMN IT! Sigh.... got to go to the toilet to clean it. Guess it's gonna leave some stains.

Next were the desserts:

As I am a seafood and sweet foodie, I would say the food here is not bad and value for money. Come and take a look when you are free!

Anyway, while eating, sZ asked if we were interested for a movie - Source Code.

We went to Downtown East to watch the 3.20pm show after he finished his work at 2.45pm but we were late and missed the first "dunno" how many minutes show.

The synopsis of the show (taken from Cathay Cineplexes):

"When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he's ever known, he learns he's part of a government experiment called the “Source Code,” a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack. Hmmm, the show was not too bad. And it depicts how every minute and second counts. In addition, I guess the importance of telling your family and loved ones how much you loved them before either one of you are gone. In reality, however, unlike the movie, we are unable to relive any moment or incident over and over again and prevent things from happening.

After movie, we chilled out at coffee bean and played Iphone games! I wondered if there was anyone sending me msn messages as I saw a "popout" when sZ was playing Ipan on my phone.

Almost met up with my superglue sister but didn't as the next destination that we went was quite inaccessible for her.

It was a great day, at least for me. To put my mind off from a-not-so-good ending at work on Thursday.

Last 2 weekends were the most interesting and memorable ones. Simple yet relaxing , fun and comfortable.

Razer.New Mouse.New Mouse Pad

I finally got a new mouse and mouse pad from Razer. It was delivered to my office last Monday. My cleaner aunty almost direct him to somewhere else when the delivery man was outside my office that day.

Initially I was just using the mouse as there wasn't enough space for the mouse pad. The Imperator Mouse on my normal old and dirty mouse pad:

I didn't even remove the plastic protected beneath the mouse as I'm worried it will get dirty before I use the new mouse pad.

It was not until yesterday that I had time to FINALLY shift away my unused CRT monitor of 3 years to make space for my laptop, mouse and mouse pad. I know I am a lazy ass. Laugh.

Here is my laptop on the computer table. It used to be on the keyboard tray which took up almost the whole space available that makes it impossible to put the mouse pad. Thus, I have no choice but to shift the laptop up.

 
There it is! The Razer's Mouse and Mouse pad!

The mouse pad as you can see is the Vespula.  It is good in the sense that it has a wrist rest which is good for me while using the mouse. In addition to that, I can choose to use between a rough or smooth surface for my mouse. This mouse pad also has a non-slip surface which makes gaming and movement of my mouse better.

Next, is my comment for the Imperator Mouse.

It is an ergonomic mouse. It is supposed to be a good mouse for people who control the mouse using either the palm or finger grip. For a finger gripper like me, I like the design of the mouse where my fingers conform to the grip. It also comes with 7 different programmable buttons for our own personal and gaming use. There is also this On-The-Fly Sensitivity function where you can adjust the sensitivity of the mouse, of which, the higher the sensitivity, the more and faster mouse cursor moves.

That's all for now. Didn't manage to arrange to meet him to pass him his Ironclad as he is busy with his assignments for now.

3rd Gaming Session.Jack's Place

Yesterday was the 3rd time at his place. On the way there, he smsed me and asked me to help him buy

Dynasty Warrior 7 

and an extra PS3 controller from the game shop we visited 2 weeks ago. He wanted to buy DW7 when it was first released last Tuesday but found the price too steep. Thus I was surprised that he decided to buy it now. In any way, I appreciates that he ask me to help him buy DW7 and the 2nd controller, so that we can play together. So sweet of him.

When I arrived at his place, he was playing his  

and was fighting the enemies. He won in the end.

After that, we started playing the Dynasty Warriors 7. We had some fun and laughters over some of the functions and characters of the game. I had to run away from some of the enemies when my life is dropping and dying. He was laughing that I am dying and asked me better don't die. The way he say it was so cute and hilarious. I was quite surprised that he know quite abit of the Dynasties History. It was a fun game and we played till about 8 plus before we left for dinner. I also passed him his

before we left for dinner. Almost forget about it if he didn't ask.

He thought I was wearing Gucci perfume. It was Issey Mayaki. Maybe my perspiration with Issey Mayaki will give Gucci? Laugh.

I like his smile when there was a girl asking us for $1 change and he sort of smile and said he doesn't have coins.

I didn't know where we were going when we alighted from the bus. It wasn't at the interchange. It was at a ulu corner at the far end of AMK central. The place we dined in was Jack's Place. We were both shocked to find out that there were so many people despite the location and time. We were also notified that the waiting time for our orders was 30 minutes. 

It took me some time to decide what to eat while it was relatively fast for him. Initially I wanted Steak and Lobster but wondered if I can finish. I wanted to have the Premium Black Augus Ribeye Steak and Prawns at first but when I asked him what he was he ordering and he said Premium Black Augus Beef Caretbag Steak and I looked at the description, I decided to have the same as his because of the Oyster! As this is the first time eating steak, I had no idea of how cooked I wanted my steak to be. So I said medium. He wanted medium rare.

It took awhile before our food arrived. We chatted a little and then he asked what games do I have on my iPhone. I showed him and he had fun playing with it. And he was telling me he was breaking my record for my Cut the Rope game. And one of the stages, he was telling me he don't know how he won but he won. Then I teased him by saying he anyhow play one. haha.. and I just like the way he smiles when I teased him.

 Then came the starter:

I think people who dined with me often will know that I like to take photos before I eats. He knows it too. Haha.. I was still taking photo when I told him that he could eat already. Then he asked if really can eat because I was still holding on to my camera. I guess he was really hungry.

After a while, came our steak. He thinks the guy who took our order either hear wrongly or took our order wrongly. He wanted medium rare and I wanted medium. But in the end, it came medium and medium well done. As I'm comfortable with more cooked steak, I asked if he wanted to change with me. I can have the medium well done and he can have the medium.

We were eating and occasional chatting. I think we were both too hungry. Laugh. He played on my iPhone when he was done with his dinner but I was still eating. The staff was looking at us when we were drinking our drinks and he was playing with the iphone and we were still not going to leave. We paid the bill and he mentioned that with that amount, we can buy another PS3 game already. lolx.

After paying the bill, we walked to AMK central. He asked if I was taking the train or bus. He waited with me for bus 22. While waiting, I lent him to play my games again. It was so fun seeing him play the games. I laughed at him when he keep making the square and diamond mistakes.

Another day full of fun and laughers.

P.S: This morning he told me he had diarrhea and he had been going to toilet since 4am, even before he goes to bed at 12am just now. It must been the steak. It would have been me if I had taken the steak instead. Sorry and thanks for taking this "ordeal" on my behalf. He said I was a lucky ass. Hope he gets better tomorrow.
