Busy weeks and Month

Life has been rather busy with work and school.

I had 2 weekend classes on the 19th and 20th of September. I was rushing through to put up a presentation on Friday night. Only managed to sleep on Sat at 4.30am. That means I only had 2.5 hrs of sleep before I woke up to prepare for my class.

Thank god the presentation was alright. I guess all of us were trying to get the presentation out the night before because...... all of us were late. Except me and wt because we took a cab down. Staying awake in class was a little difficult with the 2.5 hr of sleep I had. But I manged to make it through. To pamper myself a bit, I went to buy some donuts to eat!!!!

Well, I think I "over-buy" and "under-eat". So far, I only ate 3 and the other 3 is still lying in the fridge. Wonder if it is still edible.

Well, I'm both glad and sad that Monday is a public holiday. HAppy? I can have a break from work. Sad? I have to come out to discuss assignment on a public holiday. Orchard Central Coffee bean has become a usual place for me to discuss assigment.

My Mocha Ultimate and Tiramisu cake:

Well, yesterday I was there again to discuss assignment. This is the 3rd time. I didn't take any photos of my coffee this time. But I got myself a hazlenut ice-blended coffee. =)

Thereafter, I was quite hungry at 8+pm and we decided to grab a bite somewhere since we want to eat something else other than coffee bean. We popped by the Centre Point and decided to have something from Long John Silver.

I was alittle indecisive on what to eat before I decided to eat:

My Clam Chowder

1 fish, 1 chicken, 2 prawns and fries

Chocolate cream cheesecake

All the above with a medium ice lemon tea

I was already quite full before I even eat my cheesecake. Thus, I got to bring it home all the way from Orchard to Tampines. I think it was already melted when I reached home. Haven't open it to take a look.

When I was there at Long John Silver, I realised the place that I was siting, the background was nice. So, I decided to take some photos:

The one below is taken using my laptop:

After all that photo craze, we realised that there this this wall that looks nice:

This is the wall behind where I was sitting:

After all this photo taking, we continued on with the discussion of our assignment till we were approached by one of the staff that they are closing. By that time, it was already nearing 11pm. Before I left Central Point, I passed by 7-11 and I went in to ask if they have the sale of the IAHGame ICash Card. Apparently it was sold out. The other time I went to ask at the Somerset MRT 7-11, they only left the $60 one. Sigh. Maybe I should get it online then. Reached home at 12+ and decided to play Dragonica till around 2+am.

As for today, was rather tired. Woke up at 12+pm. Played Dragonica for a while. Then went to do my Pediatrics Module Quiz. Luckily only 5 MCQs. It was already done. Just haven't send to the lecturer. Can take a bit of time since the datedue is on 5th October. I've another 2-3 online discussions that are overdued, 1 health promotion project and 1 pediatrics resource guide. I hope that I can clear all fast.

I've taken leave on the 19 - 21st October. I couldn't take it anymore. I need breaks! 19th is the datedue for my pediatrics resource guide. Hopefully I can finish before that. Then I will have longer breaks. OR is there anyone wants to go for short overseas trip on 17 - 21st? HAha... then I will be more motivated to complete my work earlier. Just like what happened before I went for my BKK trip last year. =P

Sigh. Got to go and take dinner and bath. before I start on some of my work again..... 3 more weeks to my break!!!

P.S: I don't know what some people is thinking. Anyway, no one will know unless they spelt it out. For, we are not their 肚子里的蛔虫。

I love and miss you ... ....

Marriage

This is a song that was beginning played at the beginning of the show “芳心有李”

Fann's thought about relationship and marriage after her past failed relationships:

“少了一点期待,就少了一点伤害。”

But well, she still get married eventually. =)

Still remembered recently my colleagues and I were talking on the topic on marriage.

They were past 30s and 40s. They advised me that if I intend to get married, I should start looking for it, maybe after my degree. And if should I found someone I like, I should quickly grab it. haha... my reply to them was,

"where got so easy. You like them doesn't mean that they like you."

Even if both like each other, there may be things that is preventing them from being together.

To me, I don't want to get married for the sake of getting married. I want to get married(if I ever get married) because I love the guy and I want to have a home with him. To share our lives together, in happiness or woes, to be each other's soulmate.

Like a colleague said, if you get married for the sake of getting married and because of your parents, etc and you don't loved the person, then, when someone comes along or when your parents past away, the reasons for the couple to stay together will disappear.

Seems like many people getting married. I will be attending at least 2 wedding dinner this year. One is my YEC friends and the other is my super glue sister.

Next year, my ex-colleague is getting married. She has "booked" me to be her bridesmaid.

Sometimes attending weddings... don't know if it is a good thing or not. Of course I am happy for my friends. On the other hand, it just show how "terrible" I am. Yeah, well, I do want to get hitch but only to the one that I like. I like not get hitch just for the sake of getting hitch.

HAHa.... maybe I'll just remain Single after all. A fortune teller once has my life told. She said I will marry rather late. But I do get to enjoy quite good life at old age.

updates ***

Apologies for the lack of update. Being really super busy.... or rather should be busy. But quite un-motivated. Sigh. This "un-motivation" virus has been spreading around people around me.

Got tonnes of school related stuff to do - health promotion critique, health promotion project, 1 online discussion, another 3 week online discussions (which I've yet to start at all and now supposed to do week3), oral presentation this sat and another project. The fatigue after work make it more difficult for me to concentrate on these assignments. Often than not, I just dazed in front of the computer screen. Health promotion module is not at all promoting good health for full-time employees and part-time student. Sigh.

In another area of life, I feel that I often get alittle too sensitive or taking things too personal. Quoting example, someone may say "wu liao" or "boring and lame", it may mean the conversation and not me. But sometimes I just take things too personal. But I guess when it comes to people close to your heart, you will tends to take things more personally. Don't you guys think so? I don't give a da*n to acquaintance for saying something related to me, they can say anything they want. But when it comes to family members, very closed friends and loved ones, we tend to be less patience with them and takes things too personal at times. And I tends to get frustrated with these people more easily than others. Does that happen to you too? Do you get frustrated more easily with people close to you?

Anyway, I took some photos, perhaps a way for me to de-stress:

Saw this insect outside my workplace. It has caught a cockroach in it's mouth!
I wonder what insect is this. "Mr Knowledgeable" Vorhees do you know what insect is this?

When things get tougher, just play some music.
Or stop for a pose. =X

But when the days just get tougher and difficult, just put on a BIG Smile.
You will never know what this smile will bring you... ...

Oh..... this reminds me something. I think I still owe someone an Elmo. =X

Who is the one?

Many must have wondered which guy has given me the above gift.

aZ even asked me who is the lucky guy. (to have me of course.)

Well, I wished it was from a guy but no, it was from a boy.

A teacher's day gift.

So no. He is not the one.

Maybe he has a crush on me. Cause, he dreamt of me. Unless it was a nightmare. LOLX.

溏心風暴: My Love will get you Home

If you wander off too far, my love will get you home.
If you follow the wrong star, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home.

If the bright lights blinds your eyes, my love will get you home.
If your troubles break your stride, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home.

If you ever feel ashamed, my love will get you home.
When there's only you to blame, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home.

If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home,
Boy, my love will get you home.

It came a little early....

"Wishing you Happy Moments Everyday!"
Bee Happy!

The above was given to me by one of my 5-6 year old boy I am treating. I don't know if it is for Teacher's Day. But anyhow I am touched. Although I know highly likely the gesture is by the mother. None the less, I appreciate the gesture and the thought.

Thanks.
